Twelve Xiaomi phones, all twelve in stock, and eleven of them under Rs. 100,000.

The range is the Redmi A5 4G 3GB/64GB at Rs. 30,999 through to the Redmi Note 15 5G 8GB/256GB at Rs. 100,999.

This is the best value-per-rupee section of the shop and it is not close. The Redmi Note line in particular gives you a big AMOLED screen, a 5,000mAh class battery and fast charging at prices where Samsung is still selling you an LCD.

For a student or a first proper smartphone, the Redmi 15C 4G 6GB/128GB is the pick. Enough RAM to not stutter, enough storage to not panic, and it costs a fraction of the Note.

Go to the Note 15 if you watch a lot of video or play anything. The screen is the upgrade you will actually notice day to day.

Do you need the 5G version? Only if you are on a 5G plan and stay in a covered area. The 4G models are cheaper and the difference will not show up in your week.

The catch is the software. Xiaomi’s interface takes getting used to and ships with more preinstalled apps than most people want. You can remove most of them in ten minutes.
